How could you resist that sweet face? Purty Girl is waiting for that special home of her own. Could it be with you?
She’s a bit shy but very friendly; and once she has a bit of time to adjust to her new forever home, she’ll be by your side hoping for attention.
The thing that makes Purty Girl a special-needs kitty is that she has a medical problem with her vaginal area — it’s nothing serious, but she does need a bit of assistance to stay nice and clean.
An indoors only kitty, Purty Girl is a Golden Years pet, which means there’s no adoption fee for seniors.
This sweet cat is in the care of The Ark, a nonprofit animal shelter in Cherryfield, Maine, dedicated to caring for orphaned, abused and stray animals. She’s up to date on her shots and ready to go to her forever-home.
Purty Girl is waiting for that special person who’s willing to do just a little bit more for her. She’d be a quiet best friend who would love to enjoy time on a comfy lap. Could that lap be yours?

We’re sharing information about this sweet lady with you as part of our Adopt-an-Awesomely-Special-Pet Week (known to some as Adopt a Less Adoptable Pet Week) series of posts. Please give each of these wonderful kitties a second look; you’ll be amazed at how much they fill your heart and the joy and gratitude they’ll share with you when you bring them home.
